ThatZX14Fella Posted July 25, 2015 Posted July 25, 2015 I only have one rod and it's casting, so I'll list it. 7'3" Abu Vendetta H/F or XF (not sure which). Quote

Only 7' 3" Vendetta rods shown on the Abu website are a MH-XF and a H-Mod. Fast. It better be your favorite rod since it is your only rod. Otherwise you won't be a happy fisherman. Quote

I like it, but I'd definitely want a better one. Never fished a Rage, but at the current sales price, I think it would be a no brainer if you could come up with the funds before they are sold out. Otherwise on down the road I think the Fenwick HMG and *** Black would be a couple low cost options at their regular prices that should be a nice improvement over your current rod. Quote

Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 27, 2015 Super User Posted July 27, 2015 If I had to pick one of each out of the arsenal... Spinning: 7'1" MLXF *** Black w/ Pflueger Supreme XT. Casting: 7'3" HXF *** Black w/ BB1 Pro (blows me away how versatile this combo really is) But let's be honest I could never go out on the boat without my NRX 852c & Ito Ai. I'd leave the spinner combo home waaaaay before I'd leave this bad Larry behind. Quote
