agilmorefishing Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 I have a tournament on the Chesapeake Bay in mid September, I've never seen it before. Any information that could help me would be great appreciated it. Please Personal Message me. Thanks! Quote
nosdog2 Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 Where on the bay?? If it is a bass tourney I would assume the northern bay near the flats and where the Susquehanna comes into it. Most things are similar, however the Bay is tidal so that plays a lot into how you go about fishing. There is a lot of N. Bay info on the bass college website and a ton of vids from past tourneys up there to get you in the right direction. Quote
Megastink Posted July 24, 2015 Posted July 24, 2015 If you fish the grass flats: blades, frog, Texas rigs, senkos. If you're fishing hard cover: blades, cranks, his. Good luck! Quote
Lendiesel22 Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 It really will depend on where you are. You have the sassafras river, the susquehanna river, the susquehanna flats, ect. The susquehanna fishes tough imo, the sass has like 3lb average if you find em, and the flats can be awesome or terrible pending weather and tide. GL up there. Lots of choices to make Quote
