With all the info and new fishing equipment at this show, what have you seen that has got the bait monkey excited?  Or is there something that has been a disappointment?

For me I like the Revo Toro Beast, *** will have lefties, and maybe the new Shimano Stradic.  Other than that, the show seems pretty lack luster.

The contrast between the Savage 16 inch trout and 1 inch nymph was pretty awesome. I liked the customization that *** is going to be adding to their reels. I liked the Livetarget sunfish.

I didn't feel like anything earth-shattering came out, but it was pretty cool.

LOL.,GREAT Gif. Love it.

The biggest disapointment...Carrot Stix, their new genX rods are not neon orange, they are burnt orange.  Burnt orange makes me puke.

On the bright side Lucky Craft's new glide bait the "Real Ayu 178".  It's a 7" slow float (it dives on the retreive and floats on the pause).  The coolest part is it's only 20 bucks.

I'm interested to see what Berkley has to offer with their new line of hardbaits. I liked the Frenzy lineup, and Berkley has just been making really good stuff, for a really long time, but especially now.

Megabass Levante. Gonna get me a Leviathan.

Stradic FK? Maybe! Only $150 @ Japan Lure Shop.

SCIII Mojo Bass rods and updated Lews HM85 rods look nice. Probably won't quite stack up to the Zodias or Levante but they'll still sell. New Villains might have a shot if Abu uses good components. Now there's something between $150 and $200 for every fanboy!

Agree, the Berkley hardbaits look pretty interesting. Flicker shads are a hit, and are CHEAP so expanding the line has some promise.

I really liked the new Livetarget Sunfish. Also the new Lew's Team Pro Speed Spin reel, probably the next reel I get

I know what you mean. I ate a burnt orange once and I puked.

I wish I could like this more than once.

There are so many "old" baits I've never gotten around to buying, let alone trying, but the new Zman baits are right up my alley, especially the tube.

Savage Gear's new Shiner swimbait (Wow, hope bass like them as much as live shiners)

Live Target's Hollow body Bluegill (Frog fisherman rejoice!)

Megabass Grenade (Big Fish Bait, can't wait to try one in Glades canals)

SHM Cranka crab new modular model for inshore saltwater, most realistic movement next to Savage's real shrimp option. Can't wait to try it on Permit and inshore species.

Balsax fishing line, they have been around for years, but have a sample of their line I want to try, super thin super strong copoly line!

Those were my favorite items after walking the floor for 3 days.

Nice, I actually quoted it from Brian Bosworth.  That guy's hilarious

Berkley's hardbaits (the war pig, cutter 110+, and wild thang mostly), and their new soft bait in the Havoc lineup (the Change up I think?).

Live Target hollow bluegill

Savage Gear Shine Glide (and only $25?!)

Savage Gear mayfly nymph (I'm thinking the fish will be as hypnotized by those wiggling legs as I was).

Duo Realis new glide swimbait, all their stuff is quality and has been winners for me so really excited about that bait.

When will the SCIII Mojo Bass become available? Is St Croix going to discontinue the Rage line, or will they promote two different options at the same price point?

I'm also wondering this. What price will the Mojo be at? If I can get my hands on one at Christmas time I may buy one for dad.

Haven't said yet. Probably discontinuing the Rage though. It's in their Bargain Room online.
