Super User .dsaavedra. Posted August 9, 2009 Super User Posted August 9, 2009 this is a little 3" bluegill swimmer i made. not yet assembled, waiting for the topcoat to fully cure. i decided that i wanted to try hand painting a bluegill and see how it would turn out. turned out ok i think. i really like the tail half of this, i wish i didn't paint the head so dark. i'm going to do another one and try and improve the paintjob. Steven Ladner Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Looks good Don't worry about the paint job Quote
tnbassfisher Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Personally, I think it looks fine like it is. But, if I was into making lures, then I would probably be making a ton just to try different stuff out. Quote
bigtimfish Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 I actually really like the darker head paintjob. Quote
