this is a little 3" bluegill swimmer i made. not yet assembled, waiting for the topcoat to fully cure.

i decided that i wanted to try hand painting a bluegill and see how it would turn out. turned out ok i think.

i really like the tail half of this, i wish i didn't paint the head so dark. i'm going to do another one and try and improve the paintjob.

Personally, I think it looks fine like it is. But, if I was into making lures, then I would probably be making a ton just to try different stuff out.
