LCpointerKILLA Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 I've witnessed a bass take a baby turtle, so sure they would take a baby gator. Awesome looking bait. Quote
BIG M Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 A bass will eat anything when it's in the mood. That bait is just SICK! Your skills with carving and painting are just out there, it's not really fair for us average Joe's. Quote
etommy28 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 yes! a big bass will eat a gator, have seen it several times..... but so will every thing else, watch for birds and a mudfish will love the look of that! Quote
tritz18 Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 thats such a unique bait, please post a pic of anything you catch on it Quote
bocabasser Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 absolutely thet eat baby gators. check out the nat geo movie called everglades:secrets of the swamp. they show a huge bass eat a baby gator. they also show a tarpon eating one. that bait you made looks insane. if you need someone to demo it, i am your man. i fish the glades at least 3 times a week. does it float? BlakeMolone Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Looks awesome! It would be really cool if you could put arms and legs on it that would fold to the side when you reel it in but when you stopped it the arms would go out like an alligator arms would. Quote

GonzoFishing Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Dude, you got some serious skills! Awesome lure! If it floats, it would probably get smashed here in So. Florida! You see and hear the babies all over the place. Great job! Shoot me an IM if you ever decide to make more and would like to part with one. Quote

Kingbass43 Posted August 12, 2009 Posted August 12, 2009 Bass will eat just about anything living that moves nice lure too!! http://www.bassresource.com/fishing-forum/Templates/Forum/default/grin.gif Quote
Scruffy Posted August 15, 2009 Posted August 15, 2009 Holy cow! Great painting and construction! If you catch anything on it I'm sure we'll all want to see it, that's incredible. PS: I would get a patent on that immediately...And being totally serious, even if it didn't produce like many other lures, it would sell because of its uniqueness and even it novelty value....that's an incredible looking product and I would patent it or trademark it soon....
