I know they're in the Illinois, but who wants to brave THAT madness? Tenkiller, maybe?

The Illinois River (including Tenkiller) has good smallie water. I like doing a canoe float out of Sparrow Hawk above Tahlequah on the Illinois. There are some walleye in that stretch of river too.

Tenkiller, Lawtonka..that's probably the closest to you. Eufaula has some huge ones but they're kinda hard to find. I'm gonna go after them on mountain fork next weekend.

There's alot of riprap at Lawtonka. A shakey head with a craw has been killer for me. Alot of jet skis and party type boats during the weekend. If your in a boat the ne corner won't have any jetskis. The boat ramp is great. Lots of boat houses . We turn all our bass loose there after our tuesday night tournaments and sometimes they (linger) around.
