MattinOK Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I'm about to try and make my first wooden plug (Popper style bait). When (if) I ever manage to get it ready to hardware; is there a hook hanger that I can get locally i.e. not have to order it. I was thinking there might be some substitute, like a tiny eye-bolt that may be used. Thanks in advance for your help. Matthew Luce Quote
ernel Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 I make my own out of twisted stainless wire. You can get it at most hardware stores. Eric Quote
BIG M Posted August 6, 2009 Posted August 6, 2009 20gage stainless steel wire is what I prefer to use. Get a nail or drill bit and fold the wire around it in a U shape. Grab both ends with pliers and twist until you get a nice tight loop. Epoxy in a predrilled hole and it will never come out. Quote
