It's an Aphas platform, built for salt water use with centrifugal breaks. Never used one but it does have following and I think it's a pretty good reel

I had one..not a daiwa fan but it was a very cool reel. The guy that bought it from me was super happy to get it.

If your interested in that reel, look at the Alphas SV. Same platform, cheaper and great reviews
