BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted July 12, 2015 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted July 12, 2015 So what do you do on a Saturday night in Polk Co Fl. Take 12 cork rings and cut them into 16 pieces each. What do you do with 192 cork wedges? Glue them back together. Not an entirely stable thought process to the casual observer. 1 Quote
EvanT123 Posted July 12, 2015 Posted July 12, 2015 Looks good. You mix and match at all? Did they ever film cops in Polk county? I would imagine some other things might be going on Saturday nigh as well Quote

There was probably enough stuff going on last night to film several episodes. Quote

Super User S Hovanec Posted July 13, 2015 Super User Posted July 13, 2015 I've always wanted to do a spiral checker like that, I'm just too lazy to cut all of those pieces! Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted July 13, 2015 Author BassResource.com Advertiser Posted July 13, 2015 You have really been bitten by the rod bug amigo. When do you find time to make a living? You are getting better by leaps and bounds. With the rapidly deteriorating physical abilities, I don't run triathlons anymore, I don't mountain bike much or even fish that much anymore. The kids are all grown up and I pretty much hate everything on TV, so I had to find something to keep my mind occupied when I'm not working. Rod building is it. Quote

I saw one similar to it on the Custom Fly Grips website a couple of months ago. The heat index has been over 100* so this weekend I decided to stay in the AC. I have about 6 hours in cutting, cleaning, glueing, cutting, cleaning, glueing..... Quote
