*Hank Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I recently ordered A Keitech Mono spin jig 3/32oz and was wondering what kind of trailers to use on it? I was thinking Maybe a 4.8'' Flick Shake wacky rigged? Thanks for any advice! Quote
Megastink Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Zoom makes a slim chunk. Maybe a little spider, 2.5"? You might consider a crappie plastic. Any 3" crawfish. Quote

Super User Senko lover Posted July 11, 2015 Super User Posted July 11, 2015 I would put a very small swimbait or baby chunk on that sucker. Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted July 11, 2015 Super User Posted July 11, 2015 Use the tail off of a straight tail worm, one that is like 4.5", just cut off the back 2" and you got a great trailer for that. I make my own micro bass jigs in 1/16oz, and 1/8oz and I use the tail section of the Jacks worm by Case plastics, I also get some micro trailers from a place called Lees Global Tackle, they have these Noike high end Japanese micro jig trailers called "Bite Guts", they are pricey but very good. If you haven't received it yet you are in for a big surprise, these are tiny and use a very fine wire hook kind of like a crappie jig and you won't want to wacky rig a trailer on a jig like that, and you will want something around 2", not much more. Super User Master Bait'r Posted July 11, 2015 Super User Posted July 11, 2015 I love these things. I mostly use a Roboworm tail if I want a chunkier wag and a Slug-Go SS tail if I want to go more whippy. (they are also way more durable) the latest I've tried was a Z-man crusteaz, but haven't had enough success to comment on how well it works together. You have to keep it tiny if you're going to keep the hook exposed though. Quote

zeth Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Please go to the Keitech website as they have rigging options and videos. You can also come up with your own. Many possibilities. Quote
Super User Gundog Posted July 11, 2015 Super User Posted July 11, 2015 Reins ring craw/ax craw or maybe a reins rockvibe shad or even bubbling shaker. Ring craw comes in 3 in. Ax craw in 3.5 in. Both the rockvibe shade and bubbling shaker come in 3 in. Just a suggestion. Quote
