It's past time to lubricate my Pflueger President spinning reel but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to remove the side plate.  On most spinning reals there is usually an exposed screw which, when removed, gives you access to another screw but I see NOTHING.  Help!!!!!!!!

You have to remove the first two exposed screws and slide the chrome cap piece straight out the rear of the body then you will be able to get to the other screw. I think maybe there's another little screw on the bottom of the chrome cap you have to take off first to.

I don't know exactly how to tear down that particular reel.   I'm one these people that that don't like to fix things that aren't broken, when I tinker I break them.  My Pfluegers have been going strong for over 5 years, drop of oil on the handle bearings, line roller bearing and the spindle, that's all I do to them.
