Parcall Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I am checking to see if anyone has used the St. Croix 7'11" Legend Extreme casting rod. I am looking for a punching rod for Kissimmee, Okeechobee, ect, and wanted to see if there was any information on the St. Croix. Thanks Quote

Super User iabass8 Posted July 9, 2015 Super User Posted July 9, 2015 I used the older cork version of it a few years ago. It's a great punching rod. The MF tip was great for heavy grass/slop. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted July 11, 2015 Global Moderator Posted July 11, 2015 Check out the Okuma Mat Daddy. I have one and it's a sweet punching rod for less than half the rod you're talking about. Quote
will954 Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 My flipping/puncHing rods are dobyns champions but only because they were cheaper. but I do own three legend extremes, 70mf,70mhf, and 68mxf and I will tell you the rod you are looking at is amazing I'm sure because the actions on all the legend extremes are absolutely perfect Quote
