Guest avid Posted May 6, 2007 Posted May 6, 2007 Excellent. I never used this particular bait but it has quite a following on this site so you are definitly not alone. funny about how you said you have a bunch but are gonna get more. I soooooooooooo do that. I have bags of worms etc. that were THE killer lure one day and then..........well they work but they went from God's gift to bass fisherman to "just another good bait" The Senko of course is not included in this description as it is indeed God's gift to bass fisherman. Super User Catt Posted May 6, 2007 Super User Posted May 6, 2007 I just started using them and simple love em I use the Okeechobee bug which is green pumpkin on top and sapphire blue on the bottom. I've been rigging them on a 3/16 oz spot remover another new for me Quote
Super User burleytog Posted May 7, 2007 Super User Posted May 7, 2007 NetBait is making a high quality product. The Paca Chunks are (IMO) the best trailer on the market. The Paca Craws have not disappointed either. Quote
Blue Streak Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 I fished them for the first time this week and was just wowed by the action of those claws. I have fished all kinds of soft baits for years and have never seen one with that kind of action. I plan on working them pretty hard this year. Quote

jomatty Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 well you can use the paca craws for a trailer but they are too long for me to like. i havent got the baby craws yet. they are essentially a tube body so you cant just cut them down like you can a lot of craws. they are great t rig and the chunk is a great trailer. i thought i had settled on all of my trailer preferences and then i had to try these d**n things. oh well there is always room for another bait in my bag. matt Quote
bocabasser Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 i have been using them for over a year now, and i love them. i use the chunks (senior, tiny and regular) on my jigs and chattterbaits. i will occassionally use the baby paca as a trailer, but only when they won't hit my chunks. i love to flip the baby, and the regular paca's which are huge. Banor Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Been wanting to try these. I guess I'll have to give in and buy some. B Quote
Super User .ghoti. Posted May 8, 2007 Super User Posted May 8, 2007 I haven't tried the baby's yet, but the regular size Paca craws are killer on a t-rig. I've went through quite a few and need to order some more. Been thinkin about adding some baby's to the order. Guess you just made up my mind for me. I can't have too many, can I? Cheers, GK Catt, I like that color too. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted May 8, 2007 Author Super User Posted May 8, 2007 You won't be sorry with the baby paca craws. and when you swim them, now that is coooooooool what a great bait. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted May 8, 2007 Author Super User Posted May 8, 2007 I don't know if you guys know that you can order them from JBC Outfitters or Brad Covert on this web site, you also get a discount for being a member of this web site. I think he gives us 10% off. Quote
SuthernProg Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I love the Pacas, both baby and regular. I use the babys as trailers and to flip on a lighter rig, and the big ones for flipping heavier cover. I use Okeechobee Bug and Cajun Craw colors. Quote
skeeterman24 Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 whats the differnece between the paca craws and other craw baits that makes them so good? They look like any other plastic craw but i'm just judging by pic's i've seen on the internet. Quote
Al Wolbach Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 Skeeterman, when this bait moves thru the water the flippers move back and forth as though the bait is swimming. It works when falling on a jig or when swimming a jig. Works very good on a c-rig also. It is the best action I've seen on a craw type bait.............Al Quote
basspro48 Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I love the full size paca craw in Okeechobee craw, in the last 3 weeks I have caught 8 bass over 4lbs. including one 6.3lber by t-rigging it, pitching it to beds and shaking it. The action of the claw arms drives em nuts! Also, the paca chunk is the best jig trailer I have ever used, it adds so much more action to the jig than would a ZOOM or YUM chunk. Quote
JigNBig Posted May 8, 2007 Posted May 8, 2007 I love t-rigging them in deep rock flats. I have caught at least 70 bass this year doing that. I also like Okeechobee Bug. I have also flipped them w/ great success but i find that most of my bites come on the fall because these baits kinda roll over on their side after sitting there for a second. Quote
