S. Sass Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I knew a older fella who at one time fished a lot and he had a lot of tackle in his shop. After he passed away I was given some of these in a large amount (hundreds of these worms). I have never seen them and wondered if they were his go to worm since he had so many or if he just got a deal on them in bulk and hated them afterwards. They are fuzzy so to speak. Has anyone ever used these ? Know who made them? Just curious about them really. 3 Quote
Super User RoLo Posted July 8, 2015 Super User Posted July 8, 2015 Reminds me of the Venom Ringworm, but they have a sickle-tail, not a ribbontail Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted July 8, 2015 Super User Posted July 8, 2015 awesome walleye bait. http://www.bfishntackle.com/4inch_moxi.html same tail but just a tad larger upper body. those baits have a lot of action and slow speeds. If you have any green pumpkin, i'd be interested. Quote

The body is 4" long and the tail is right at 3". I think these are from like in the 1980s or early 90s as that was the era most of his stuff was from. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted July 8, 2015 Super User Posted July 8, 2015 If you are looking to sell them, I'd suggest trying Walleyecentral.com or in-depthoutdoors.com. Some walleye guys might jump on the smoke and coffee colors. Quote

I would give you some if you were interested in the color I had. Quote
Kevin22 Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Sort of like a 6" zipper worm. I catch a lot of bass by accident while fishing for walleye with ringworms, moxies, and pulse-r. Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 9, 2015 Super User Posted July 9, 2015 Huh! Blank! I know what they are but I'm drawing a blank! They are more like hairy than rings? 1 Quote

You sound like a great sportsman!!! 2 Quote

That is the way mine were packaged just ziplock baggies nothing written on the bags. I have tried searching the net but if you put fuzzy and worm you don't get these. haha Quote

Dillon Simpson Posted January 21, 2017 Posted January 21, 2017 The company name is rawhide baits, they no longer exist anymore due to the death of the man that made them. He lived on highrock lake. I myself have a few packs of these and I love them. I am looking for more of these worms. 2 Quote

Also I had several folks ask for these back when I originally posted this. Since then to my knowledge I am out. I do not have any more of them and If I find any more in my piles of baits Dillon Simpson has requested them and I will send them to him. 1 Quote

If you are still interested please let me know what color or colors you are interested in and I will see if I can get them. Will have large assortment of rawhide baits. Quote
