Louisiana_Bassin23 Posted July 15, 2015 Posted July 15, 2015 If you have a kayak or small jon boat flukes reign supreme around the stumps. Weightless of course. 1 Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 15, 2015 Super User Posted July 15, 2015 Google Toro creek, it's not far from you. When the creek level is down you can catch 25-30 Kentucky bass a day! Quote

bassarmy7 Posted July 17, 2015 Author Posted July 17, 2015 What ya talking about? Toro creek. Typed in toro creek louisiana in google maps and it shows it as a creek comin off the lake in hodges garden Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 17, 2015 Super User Posted July 17, 2015 No no no! Sorry should have been more specific! Hwy 171 north to Hornbeck, hwy 392 west to hwy 191, turn south on hwy 191 & the Toledo Bend levee, look for a small dirt road on your left which will take you around to the creek. I wade fish down near the spillway where the cable is stretch across & then bank fish from there down stream. I throw a Texas rig (3/16-1/4) & hopping it while the current moves it. Quote
bassarmy7 Posted July 17, 2015 Author Posted July 17, 2015 Ah ok that makes sense ima have to check that one out Quote
bassarmy7 Posted July 17, 2015 Author Posted July 17, 2015 Is it the one on google maps down by sabine river called sutton creek or did i go too far south Quote
Super User Catt Posted July 17, 2015 Super User Posted July 17, 2015 Goto the dam, that's the Sabine river, just north is the spillway which runs into Toro Bayou. Don't know why everyone calls it creek! Quote
RCCA Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I'm from Marksville. You could try Hodge's Garden from the bank. Good luck. Quote
