Oliver Ngy of big bass dreams just drove out to Texas and fished for about 2 months and caught a bunch of big fish throwing swimbaits. He even started guiding local guys on their own home lakes. I don't think he got a teen but he got one over 12 and several over 10 and he was only there for a short time. That's what happenes when a guy knows how to target trophy sized bass. It didn't matter that the lakes were new to him or that the locals thought he was "fishing for sharks"  with the "huge swimbaits" he didn't listen to them when they told him they wont work here. Learn big bass behavior and throw baits that are proven to produce high percentages of big bass.

So if the spawn don't put em in one location y'all can't find or catch em!

Huh! ;)

I hate to repeat myself, but the above statement leaves me no choice.

The statistics I cited were not based on MY performance, YOUR performance or any one case in point.

Instead, they are based on consensus statewide tournament statistics (local & tournament levels), the FWC

Trophy Program and the all-time record B.A.S.S stringer of 45-lb 2-oz produced by Lake Kissimmee in January (midwinter)

All the double-digit bass that you & I cumulatively mustered over the years, pale in magnitude.

I believe JT Kenney also caught an 11 on Toho during tournament practice in February, if that points anything out.

Maybe this video could also help with your quest. I find Matt Allen's information incredible

I hate to repeat myself Roger but you aint answering the question!

I aint asking what Dean Rojas can do I'm asking what you can do. Ole Tom done admitted after the spawn he's done.

Tom hasn't caught any 15 pound giants after the spawn. But he said he's caught 10s and 12s, through the winter months. Not done by a long shot.he's probably caught more and bigger fish after the spawn then everyone on this thread. I've got some serious respect for that. Given California's trophy potential is the best in the world imo. You still gotta chatchem. I believe California will produce the next world record before Texas produces it's next state record. If they can keep their lakes from going dry that is.

Question?   What Question??

I think WRB kept his posts on an upper plane, and strived to offer an informative tutorial.

He never lowered the tone to a personal competition, and I endeavored to do the same.
