R2S Spittin' Wa.  River 2 Sea has the best frogs.

the spittin wa looks cool, but I have had nothing touch it. Have fished an entire bank with it and not had so much as a swirl, threw the poppin pad crasher over the same area not 15 minutes later, and destroyed fish in on it. Don't know what it is about it.

The Lunker frog you posted in great in more open water. In heavier cover, I like most of the one's posted here like the Booyah Pad Crasher and Spro Bronzeye.

Could be the bigger size.  The 70 is bigger than the average frog.

  1. KVD Sexy Frog
  2. Ish Phat Frog

Black or white in color. The Sexy Frog was my first real confidence bait. You should get a couple.

I love my black Spro popping frog and so do the fish. It's about to the point that I will need to replace it.

You better believe in clear shallow water that the bass can see what color the sides are.

Sebile Pivot Frog. .

I bought one of these thinking it looked cool.  It broke in my hand trying to align the hook because it was VERY badly misaligned.  Never again, Seblie.  Never again.

I only fish a handful of frogs

Spro Bronze eye shad.....nasty shad color

Deps Slither Frog........black

And then there are the main players from Snag Proof

Bobby's Perfect Frog.....Freds Frog and Smoke

Ish's Phat and Poppin Phattie..........  Sexy Ish, Black, Cristyl, Freds Frog, and Platinum

Go to frog would be the Phat frog in Platium.

No need for any other frogs other then maybe the small LT Field mouse (1/4oz size)

Booyah popping pad crasher.

Booyah pad crasher. I use this in thicker stuff.

Koppers live target. I don't buy them as much anymore but I still like them, just not their price tag.

Colors: Black, Leopard Frog and White. As others have stated, color doesn't matter until it does.

I look for the softness of the plastic first and foremost. These brands are soft and seem to have a better hook up ratio.

Spro bronzeye frog 65, poppin' frog 60, and bronzeye shad 65. Next on my list to try is the king daddy. As you can see, I'm a fan of spro frogs.

I just snagged a couple LH frogs to try, but I find the spro's to be the best bang for buck and seem to revert to them.

After seeing the magic in one of BR member Frog Turd's videos, lately it's been the Spro Dean Rojas Bronzeye King Daddy.  Thanks Darryl.

btw - though they are a little tough to find, if you haven't started using the Lake Fork Tackle Frog "Tail Hook"  you might want to consider it.  Hooks up those short strikers and it amazingly weedless.

I like Teckel frogs! Did a review on them if you google my name followed by Teckel you'll see it. Not posting links to other sites.

Fished with Spro for many years. Switched to BOOYAH PAD CRASHER.  Last much longer, half the price of Spro. and fish just as well if not better than Spro.
