So its off east side drive I fish it during my lunch break. It looks like there should be some nice fish in there but I can't get a bite, I've seen fish jump and huge schools of minnows swimming, also there's frogs everywhere and tons of salamanders swimming around. Anyone ever bring a boat out there and had luck?

i dont know this place. how big? i will have to google it and find it. Can i get a canoe to it?

Its not very big a few acres at most. Its near mill brook elementary school down a dirt road. And you could deff get a canoe in there,

i found the school but i am not finding any water.   This is Concord NH correct?

I see some water behind 49 profile.

Not sure about the map but its about .5 mile past the school on curtsville st. You go under power lines on a dirt road and its there on your right. I have a picture of it but its to big to upload

viewable from the road?   i will be there to try it tomorrow afternoon if i can.   I have some deliveries in Concord tomorrow

About 1/2 mile past school on the right.   I will bring my canoe and my wheels.

i will probably be fishing the water across from the launch into the Merrimack as you enter NHTI school area.

i like that area ,  i follow it way back, and fish all the spots of weeds and pads in the middle areas.   I dont hit the banks a lot there.  I find them typically a little deeper.

I have herd good things about nhti haven't fished it yet, it it possible to bank fish

There is some bank fishing in the NHTI pond.  Bring rubber boots for the mud.   But i am talking about in the Merrimack.  at the soccer fields there is a ramp into the Merrimack.   from that ramp i head straight across into the back water area.

you are not alone.

Horseshoe in Concord is on the other side of the highway.   accessible and fishable from shore.

NHTI pond is all the way inside the campus.  You have to park in the parking lot and walk to it.   they want no cars except in the parking areas.

The Merrimack is accessible as you enter NHTI campus.  between 2 fields ,  plenty of parking right there, and some shore fishing.   I drop the canoe and go straight accross.  lots of easy water to fish.

So I went today on my lunch like always, bought a spro frog last night, first cast bang, the biggest snapper I have ever seen stole my frog. Any chance you checked it out today nev?

yup , i paddled around and fished for about an hour, i found snakes , mice , birds , turtles, but no fish.  I did not see any huge turtles but they are probably there.  tons of weeds any small lilly pads.  Most of it was less than 2 to 3 feet of water.   There was some deeper.   Ifi were to try to fish it again i would go try towards the back end at the outlet.   I did not go all the way back.    I am not saying there are no fish, i did not see any nor did i get any bites.   It certainly looks like it should have some.

bring 2 rods next time you go.  take and put a big frog or i like the big live target field mouse on one and cast it as far as you can into the clear , not into the weeds.  let it sit and just every minute or 2 give it a twitch,  try to get it into the deeper middle part.   twitch it around for 15 or 20 minutes, see if you get anything to hit it.   then try it way back if you can walk there.    I am thinking into the main part where the water flows or moves a little and where the water exits back into the brook.   could also try a big bobber and a big nightcrawler ti see if you get anything.

Thank you for the advice, got a Abu Garcia orra sx30 spinning real on a st. Croix triumph poll at goodwill this weekend for 5$. So I went to just through a few casts and play with the new setup on lunch today. I tied on a white spinner bait tossed it a few feet past the single tree standing right at the little beach area and first cast boom 22" pickerel smacked it. It was awesome to finally catch something out of there even if it wasnt a bass, made the rest of my work day nice as well. As far as the other two bodies of water I'm not sure have not checked them out yet. But I did notice mill brook looks to be maybe feeding beaver pond, mill brook flows from turtle pond which has a decent fish population. It might not be the bass heaven that it looks like from shore but hell catching a fish in the 15 minute window on lunch makes a great day.
