I've been waiting to pull the trigger on this one, very expensive for my taste. Running at 20-25 dollars I'm hesitant, so I was wondering

if anybody else had as much luck as this guy?

if you did what time was it?

How did you retrieve?

Looks awesome like it could draw up fish. Love the colors.

I sent one in the xmas exchange last year. I'm unsure is Deak has fished it. Looks ridiculous enough to work.

They make a big ruckus on the surface. They're a big, heavy bait. Just reel them in slow. I'd suggest a 5:1 reel. The Pomp Jr. is coming out at iCast. That should be better suited for any a lighter setup.

I haven't caught anything with it. Im sure when something does hit it though, it's going to be huge.

Always fish it at dawn or dusk, gill bone color.

The pompadour jr has been available in Japan for a year now..and on ebay.

Oh, and BTW dude: Bamabass could pretty much catch big fish on anything he throws.

I have one, I've fished it once but didn't get any bites. It casts great on MH casting gear. I'll have to experiment with my retrieves but I just slowly reeled it in on that first trip. I need to break it back out soon, truthfully I'd already forgotten about it.

Been fishing the pompadour about a year now, excellent lure worked along weed breaks and rip rap. Fish it like a buzz bait.

Tried mine out last night and wasn't doing too well the first hour. Cue 8:00PM, then it was like a dinner bell going off.

It's a large-ish bait but I was pulling agressive 10" dinks off it left and right. I did catch a couple keepers, too.

I fished mine as slow as I could while still maintaining that "Michael Phelps" swimming action it has, with occasional pauses. That's what worked best for me.

Granted, it was only a one evening test, but the results were good! Really interesting action.
