Jon G Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Some of things I'm now excited for are the RES Tungsten 2 Tap, Spro RK Star 55, the new St Croix Legend Elites, and the Sunline Assassin FC, Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted July 1, 2015 Super User Posted July 1, 2015 I guess I better start saving up now. I'll be getting the new Rapala HD colors and the Spro RK Star's. Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I'd like to open hand slap whoever designed those new tatula xt rods. And quantum's lineup never ceases to amaze me A lot of gimmicky looking products there. That megabass levante has my attention though... Quote
herruberraschen Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 Kind of a Strike King fan boy. Here's the interesting things I remember off the top of my head: -Magnum Caffeine Shad 7" -Ochos now come in 4" 5" 6" & 7" -Big 10" finesse worm -Tungsten Rattle Red Eye Shad There's others I don't remember and over 200 total items in that Bassmaster link Quote
robster80 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 cant wait to see what new colors booyah will have for the one knockers. curious about that daiwa fuego as well Quote
robster80 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 those lews rods with the golf grips look awesome Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted July 1, 2015 Super User Posted July 1, 2015 ^Yeah, I thought so too. I've been waiting for Booyah to get into hard baits, looks like they'll be taking over the Excalibur stuff. Everything looks pretty cool! Quote
smallies24/7 Posted July 1, 2015 Posted July 1, 2015 I'd really like to see a 4" elaztech stick bait made by either strike king or Zman. Both of them only have a 5". Quote
Super User FishTank Posted July 2, 2015 Super User Posted July 2, 2015 I feel a St. Croix legend elite coming my way next year. Very sweet rod. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted July 2, 2015 Super User Posted July 2, 2015 I feel a St. Croix legend elite coming my way next year. Very sweet rod. I thought I as all but done with St. Croix until I saw the new legend Elite. Hopefully they offer the same lengths/actions as the Xtreme. As long as that is an ECS and not SK2 garbage, it should be a winner. I fear it may be in the NRX price range though /w those guides. The "TatFuego" just screams disappointment if it's in the Tatula frame. Seaguar Flippin' Fluoro sounds really nice. Hard not to trust a line with Danny's name on it. Weego Jump Starter Battery looks really cool Quote
chelboed Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Well you know I would have a Lew's comment...the magnesium speed spool looks pretty baller until I really compare it to my Team Lite...it's nearly the same reel. Magnesium frame versus aluminum...5.3 oz versus 5.6. The hook holders are not anything I need. The line size indicator is not useful to me. The black/gold finish is gnarbeans as all get-out though. Over all...as long as it's not much more than a Team Lite...it'll be worth it to me. I really like the speed cast brakes, but I still wish they'd offer a magnesium Team Pro LFS with dual braking. Doesn't replace the adjustable centrifugal...but I'd sure own one of each. Okay...who am I kidding...it's PIMP and super light...I want one. Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted July 2, 2015 Super User Posted July 2, 2015 New daiwa products and duo got me excited. Sunline assassin too. Probably buy a spro rat in the smaller size. Quote
Super User buzzed bait Posted July 2, 2015 Super User Posted July 2, 2015 i liked the Mann’s crystal flash spinner bait, SK swinging sugar buzz and Megabass Fermata – suspending lipless crank. And of course i liked the Wilderness ATAK but i had already seen that one. Quote

5fishlimit Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 The "TatFuego" just screams disappointment if it's in the Tatula frame. From the looks of the picture I am certain that it is NOT on the Tatula frame. The lack of the TWS is even more compelling of an argument that it won't be on the Tatula frame. Quote
PAGreg Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Lews Tournament Pro G. Oh, yes. You will be mine! Quote

The lack of the TWS is even more compelling of an argument that it won't be on the Tatula frame. Remember the comparison pictures of the tatula vs the new zillion on TT where the picture "looked like they were different"? I'll believe it when I see it on this one. It would be nice to have a new Daiwa reel on a non tatula frame but I'm not holding my breath on it. Quote

The Alphas SV and the SS SV are coming over to our shores, and those are not built on the Tatula frame. Quote

chelboed Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 Lews Tournament Pro G. Oh, yes. You will be mine! This intrigues me. If they keep the Team LITE, introduce the Pro G and Team Pro magnesium...then they'll have 3 reels with the same brakes, bearings, c45 side plates, capacity, line indicator, & hook keeper...the difference will be finish, knobs, and the magnesium frame on the Pro Mag. Odd...but I'll bet the Tourney pro G well be the best bang for buck. Quote

Weego Jump Starter Battery looks really cool The Croix Legend Elite has a reel seat that is very, very good, but with the reel seat and the Torzite guides, the price I was told is going to be between $475 - $525 depending on model.
