BASSPATROL247 Posted July 2, 2015 Posted July 2, 2015 The toro handle will fit your 6500, lot cheaper than some of those fancy jap ones..if im not mistaken every abu i own round and low have compatible handles and im pretty sure lews and abu's handles are interchangable.. almost every handle ive ever seen will fit just about any other reel regardless of brands.. ive never had a problem putting a handle off one reel and onto another reel... Same difference to me. i'll just say it, i dont say "jap" to be derogitory or to insult anyone but thats what my grandparents and parents called them, just like most have referred to japanese as ****..ok i said it, didnt want anybody getting the wrong idea... if that offended you i guess all i can say is i meant no disrespect to you or any japanese people☺... You did not offend me but it is commonly used as a slur. I can completely understand why someone that fought in WWII would still refer to the Japanese as ****. I was even watching a show about Japanese War Crimes in WWII the other day and there are a lot of people worldwide that have the right to call the Japanese anything that they want IMHO.You can call me a hypocrite because I have said it in the past but not anymore.
