Super User clayton86 Posted July 1, 2015 Super User Posted July 1, 2015 I was at Jo Ann fabrics last night looking for some thread to use for a dragon scale wrap I wanted to try and seen they have tons of of sulky brand thread. It was pretty sweet looking some of the colors. Is this the same sulky thread you get from like mudhole. I like being able to see it in person before ordering. If it's the same I might pick some up next time I'm up there. Quote
BassResource.com Advertiser FD. Posted July 2, 2015 BassResource.com Advertiser Posted July 2, 2015 Most sewing threads are coated with a wax to help if through the machines. Absolutely do NOT use that on a rod. The finish will not penetrate the wax. Quote
