Took my wife out to practice fishing a wacky rig at one of our ponds and she seemed to have zero problem figuring it out. We are headed on vacation soon and have the opportunity to fish a private trophy lake and this is what she will be throwing mostly, along with some top water as well.

Not bad for a city girl. This was her biggest for the day. Just shy of 3lbs.

Well done! First time one of my boys cast a

drop shot off a dock - practice, as well - he

caught a 4 lb bass. It was just the start for him.

Good luck at the trophy lake!

This is where my wife caught most of her bass, just look for the bridges and have her cast right up on each side.

That's where her PB came from on a black and blue wacky rig. It probably would have been half a pound heavier if it hadn't coughed up a 12-15 inch long eel while she was fighting it.

There really isn't anywhere on that lake that doesn't look fishy though.

Your chariot unless he's upgraded, it really was a nice ride especially having the wife too, plenty of room for her to get comfortable when she got tired of fighting fish :)

What lake is this?

It's a private lake that my buddy lives on, Hampton Lakes.
