FishHard247 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Ive searched this site and found a few but here is what I have found so far. Im a bass man and Need my fix while on vacation in August. Check these out near my condo. Bank fishing only. Long Pond: Looks grown up but huge. Also looks pretty swampy, NOT east access. Chapin Pond: Nearby and looks good, easy access Lake Arrowhead: Beside Chapin, looks good, easy access from bank Sandhill Pond: Beside Lake Arrowhead, easy access, looks good Dunes Lake: Huge, near all the others, looks good Lower Chesnut lake: Again, right there with the others, easy access, looks good. May go online and get a 2 week SC license. Only $11 just in case. Anyone fished these? Any other spots you may know of? Id like to hit up some golf course ponds but if these are good they should last me a week lol. Thanks guys! C Quote
FishHard247 Posted July 6, 2015 Author Posted July 6, 2015 Man I thought that there would be tons of guys that fish in north myrtle. Golf course capital of the world. I don't mind sneaking in some golf courses but would rather have permission. EEEK! Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted July 6, 2015 Super User Posted July 6, 2015 I'm about to be in Hilton Head SC. I'll be fishing a private lake, the lagoon system, inlets, and golf course ponds. Quote
FishHard247 Posted July 6, 2015 Author Posted July 6, 2015 Do you ask permission from the golf courses or just let it rip? lol Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted July 6, 2015 Super User Posted July 6, 2015 Call and ask them. Most of them have a 7-7 rule. Meaning you can fish before 7 AM and after 7 PM. The house that we are staying at is on a golf course, don't know if that makes any difference. Quote

They're just fish, getting a fine or even arrested for trespassing isn't worth trying to catch a couple bass. Call the clubhouse and ask to save everyone the hassle. Plus if it's a course that allows fishing at certain times and you try to sneak out there and get caught they might pull access from everyone that is following the rules. Quote
