rboat Posted May 24, 2009 Posted May 24, 2009 I have an old wooden lure that needs a new paint job. I sanded it down. I do not have an airbrush. I will need to use spray cans. Any suggestions on how to start and how many coats? Thanks. Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted May 25, 2009 Super User Posted May 25, 2009 start with a base coat. white is a good base color. then just spray on whatever else you want. use as many coats as it takes to get the look you want. clear over it with epoxy. Quote
FishDontLikeMe1301600221 Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Also use painterstape to tape off make stripes or designs,I have also gone to a craft store and bought styles of lace to lay over the lures then spray them to give them different patterns. Quote
