Slade House Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Just taking a survey but how many of you would purchase tungsten mojo sinkers and tungsten split shot weights? if giving the chance Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 Have no need for them, no. Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Tungsten split shots, I would be interested as long as they aren't crazy expensive. Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 Tungsten split shots? No way. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 depends on the price It would be the price of tungsten. 1 Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 Yes. I use tungsten for everything that I can. Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 Yes, I would be interested in both. Quote
Super User gardnerjigman Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 negative ghost ryder! Quote
Super User HoosierHawgs Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 I would buy Mojo weights... Split shots are debateable.. But if I'm going to use them it would probably be for is fishing in some prestine water, so yes probably. Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 I fish some streams where lead fishing weights are prohibited, and split shot are the best way to get down to the bottom. I find the tin split shot to be too large and intrusive when fishing in small clear trout streams. Quote
kcdinkerz Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Nope tungsten cost to much I go swimming for my worm and punch weights if I can Quote
Joe H. Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Not worth it IMO. The smaller size of tungsten would make it more snag resistant but with the price of tungsten it would probably be a lot cheaper to just loose a few However, I do use tungsten bullet weights. Reins to be exact. I've had bad expeiences with lead fraying my line. Quote
Super User Jrob78 Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 I wouldn't use either but I would think tungsten would be too hard to use as a split shot weight anyway. 1 Quote
riverbasser13 Posted June 23, 2015 Posted June 23, 2015 Yes for the mojo, no for the split shot. Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted June 23, 2015 Super User Posted June 23, 2015 Nope for the split shot and no for the mojo at the current prices. Mojo would be interesting if the prices dropped. Quote
