Shockwave Posted June 30, 2015 Posted June 30, 2015 I live in the St. Louis area and it has been pouring as of late, but, the rain is supposed to finally stop tomorrow and I've been dying to fish. I want to head out to a couple farm ponds tomorrow morning. However, as we have gotten about 10 inches of rain in the last week, you can bet the ponds will be high and incredibly muddy. I would normally wake up at 4 AM and drive about an hour to get there. So what do you guy think. Is it worth it? Do I have any chance of actually catching fish after this much rain? Or should I just take the day to sleep in? How'd you end up doing? Quote
Ads7633 Posted June 30, 2015 Author Posted June 30, 2015 How'd you end up doing? I did okay, the water looked like pudding, but I was able to catch about 8 on bright lipless cranks, and a few more on dark spinnerbaits, nothing huge. But, regardless, I still had a great time! 1 Quote
