Shanes7614 Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Any guys using these for bass? What times of year do they work best for you? Quote
Jgoins Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 I like them all times of the year, right now I have been throwing them up in the junk Texas rigged with no weight for shallow fish. I also like them on drop shots and the mojo-rig. if you are fishing over grass with the mojo-rig it kind of looks like a shad that's having trouble. Most of the time I cant find Slug-go's here so I just use flukes, looks the same to me. but just my experience. Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted June 19, 2015 Super User Posted June 19, 2015 The Slug-Go is one of my all time favorites in any size really- just a fantastic darty/jerky presentation. I usually cut it off at the 6" though for the regular "fat" style and then go with the Slug-Go SS (which is a 9" also I believe) for a longer albeit more slender look. They have the same forebody of the 4" and a long, whiplike tail... Honestly nothing walks like it. It's just so whippy and erratic, it drives the fish insane and stays in the strike zone a long time because you can literally just walk them in place. Quote
