Saw these while I was at DSG yesterday picking up a Frisbee.. Looked interesting.. Very similar to the Tour Grade models. Lots of them have painted blades and they all came with trailer hooks.. Has anybody else seen these? Are they a DSG exclusive or something?

I saw some and picked up a few, the spinnerbaits are ok and the buzzbaits are great. The paint on the blades chips easily but that does not really bother me. I don't know if they are DSG exclusive but I have not seen them anywhere else.

Limited use so far, I've had luck with the Bluegill colored Banshee Spinnerbait. The paint on the blades seems to easily wear off which sucks (wish they were more durable) but as they spin fast idk how much it really matters... I care more about the blades giving off flash anyways. I like the skirt colors (one of the reasons I bought them) and they come with a trailer hook which is nice. If I remember correctly, the last time I used them I felt they were more of a "Slow-Roll" type of Spinnerbait. I don't own nor have I used any of the Buzzbaits... they didn't look very appealing to me in design. I prefer Cavitron Buzzbaits, and as an all purpose Spinnerbait so far I prefer BOOYAH.

Not a bad deal to me. Stopped by DSG and they were on sale for $4. The blade paint will definitely come off but they come in a nice mix of colors. 3/8 are colorado/willow and 1/2 are double willow. Got a couple spinnerbaits and two buzz baits.

Are they still selling them, haven't seen the lipless in a while?

Updates? I bought five spinnerbaits and two lipless.

I have been using the buzzbaits, lipless, and spinnerbaits.

For me the buzzbaits are fantastic and all of my own pb's over the past two years are on Banshee buzzbaits.  Have not used the spinners much but that has nothing to do with their quality.

The lipless have worked great for me.  I cannot tell the difference in any way from a regular RES, and I believe they are the same, just a limited number of very specific colors.

I have noticed that DGS' in the Atlanta area have most or all of their Banshee hardbaits on clearance (e.g. ending in *.47 or *.97 on the price tags, typically 3.97 each).  I have not paid attention to the spinnerbaits and buzzbaits because I already have a huge stock of them.

Hard to understand why but they appear to be discontinuing them considering that several stores have had them on clearance for months and have not restocked as they did the past two years.  At this point banshee hardbait stocks are very low or eliminated entirely in the stores I've been in near Atlanta.

I've used the lipless and they seem to work fine, really no different than the RES.  I stopped by DSG the other week and they still had some in stock, though nowhere near the amount they had when I bought mine (this applies to all of the Banshee series).

Caught a ton of fish a week ago on the Red Craw lipless, so no problem with them here!

Great value there. I have a bunch and they are just like the RESs.
