skillet Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 Avid, Don't know about other folks, I'm sold on the idea that a certain bait is better than others of the same brand... As Ever, Skillet Quote
wickyman Posted May 7, 2007 Posted May 7, 2007 That is a great story avid! That's too bad when that happens... I hate losing a lure that works fantastic, and no less, with a devil fish, such as a pickerel! I have lost a lot of lures in the 12 years that I have fished, but it seems, every single time I find the "right" lure, it becomes entangled in what I like to call the "underwater reaper"... I love the baby torp in frog, but it has been fairly unsuccessful for me... Try, try again! What do you do to yours to make it work better? PM me if you have pictures. I would like to see what you do! Quote
Super User RoLo Posted May 7, 2007 Super User Posted May 7, 2007 no prop I have ever owned before or since, was near as good as that lure. I had a similar experience with a Lunker City Buzzbait, but probably not to the extent of your Dying Flutter. One day it dawned on me, that one of the buzzbaits seemed to be catching most of the bass...What's up with that! Oddly enough, it was something intangible, something that wasnt visually noticeable, at least not to me. Like you, I tried different blade-bending contortions, but to no avail Roger Quote
