JayFry Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 I recently bought a pack and love the action and durability. It works well on a lead head jig and have tried on the Neko rig got a few bites main question would be has anybody had luck using a different way? If so, how? Details Quote
Solution KDW96 Posted June 15, 2015 Solution Posted June 15, 2015 Using a ewg hook, rig them backward! I've used them by themself, as trailer on a jig, even a megastrike buzzbait. I use the 3&4 inch sizes. Also invest in a bottle of mendit,as these baits will tear easy. Having different colors and mendit, allows the creation of some fish catching baits! Taking the tail section and mendit to the body of a different color. Good luck sir....... Quote
Super User webertime Posted June 15, 2015 Super User Posted June 15, 2015 Weightless backwards with a 4/0 EWG (the standard Hydra Fat Ika method) and 1/0 circle hook through the transition from tentacles to body with a nail weight in the nose Quote

Details I liked these rigged as a drop shot bait in shallow water. Would fish it in 5-6 fow, cast it out and reel it back slowly and did quite well with it. Plan on doing more of the same this year. Super User QUAKEnSHAKE Posted June 16, 2015 Super User Posted June 16, 2015 If you want to add some color & scent look into getting some JJ's Magic and dipping the skirt in the stuff. 1 Quote
