robster80 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 anyone a fan of these? i tried a few baits earlier today and wasnt hitting on much and put on one of these and caught fish after fish. 8 or 9 pretty quick. switched to a couple lucky crafts didnt get a bite. tied the yozuri back on and started slaying them some more. think ill pick up a few more of these Quote
kikstand454 Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 They're good solid baits. As with anything though. .... you stumbled onto the right lure at the right time. Many people have a phenomenal day with a "new to them" lure and rush out and buy a stock of them. ..... only to find they are no more or less effective than any of their other lures. I find the vibe to be good for me when I'm fishing clear water as its tight wiggle and relatively quieter rattle is the slightly more subtle approach I feel i need. If there is a subtle approach to a lipless crank. Lol. Quote
Super User WRB Posted June 16, 2015 Super User Posted June 16, 2015 I have had very good success on the 3BD in both prism black/silver and prism black/gold colors that came last year for school size bass. Tom Quote
zachb34 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 I fish those and red eye shads exclusively as far as lipless baits go. Red eyes shads are louder and have a wider wobble with a shimmy on the fall. The yo-zuri is a little less agressive. They for sure have their place. They do shimmy on the fall but its more subtle and they tangle on occasions. They're heavier also at 5/8 oz and run a tad bit deeper. I think they also perform better in grass. Quote
Super User FishTank Posted June 16, 2015 Super User Posted June 16, 2015 Good bait. I picked up a couple a few years ago for $3 each. I like the ghost color I got the best, not sure what the actual color name is though. Quote
