MrBigFishSC Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Sorry for the pic posting error. So much for smart phones and dumb operators Quote
annexation Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 I've had to resort to a senko for most of my catching lately - which is bittersweet because I'd much rather catch them other things. Like this fancy Pompadour I just picked up. Ned has been good to me, too, for hitting them in deeper water. Quote
WPCfishing Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Double chrome willow leaf spinner baits with a black skirt. I bend the blade shaft parallel to the hook shank so I can keep them up. I retrieve them a inch under the surface or churning. I'm also still catching with toads. I'm in 2-4 feet of water usually on the north shore, east shores or somewhere in between. I don't start fishing until at least 12:00 this time of year. Quote
RyanFishing Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 My best lure lately has been the new Strike King Redeye Shad Tungsten 2 Tap. It has been doing absolutely great for me recently! Quote
WPCfishing Posted October 24, 2015 Posted October 24, 2015 Just bought a couple SPRO Bronzeye shad to throw tomorrow. Clear Chartreuse a Red Ear and a Neutral Green Popper frog. Quote
Wprich Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 The rage tail space monkey and craw did good for me today, rigged rage style with a 1/8 owner screwlock hook dragged across the top quick like a buzzbait. Quote

WPCfishing Posted October 28, 2015 Posted October 28, 2015 I fished some seriously hard conditions last week and got three bass. One was just under five pounds. Spinner baits around pads and sticks and a toad worked for me. All the jigs were off in a big way. Quote
Evan K Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 There's been a lot of hard conditions right now, a lot of cold fronts and bluebird sky days, high winds, etc. I've been working a wacky rigged Senko pretty hard and it's been performing well for me; mostly small <=2 lbs. with plenty of tiny ones but at least I'm catching fish.
