Daiwa TDZ 100M fully tricked out or a Shimano Core 50mg7. Casting distance, lightweight, and smooth retrieves are what I enjoy most.

Yeah, I am pretty much limited to the same feelings since fishing locally sucks so bad.  :cry3:  But even when visiting my B-I-L my reels bring a lot of joy to the fishing experience.

OP:  We've been through this question many times.  I still can't pick just one.  I gave up trying to decide long ago.  Decided to take about 15 of them with me when I die.  :teeth3:

piles of reels - they all work well - new curado and tatula cast well but my old Ardent 1000's and my shimano 250 cast equally well if not further - but my all time favorite was my old Langley Lurecast with 9# tournament silk - I learned to cast with that reel and Jason Lucas's advice.

Tuned CH50mg. Megabass Zonda. CU100B(tuned). Other than that, every reel I own.

Never have fished the Zonda, though.

Daiwa Alphas Ito Ai.  Still a killer reel after all these years.

Something Zillion. I fish the 7.1:1 a lot but the PE Special has the best color scheme. Still looking for a Cabela's 50th to put on a green NRX.

I have a Diawa pro caster and I love it. I just got a new Lews lightning tournament 100 size or something like that, but still I like the bigger feel of the Diawa.

I have one particular Lews BB1 that's just superb. This was a tough decision.

I love my Tatula and Type-R for heavy line apps. Can't tell the difference between the two. The Curados (D, E and G) for lighter work. These are all such great reels that I have not developed a favorite. Would probably say the Curados are more versatile but take slightly longer to tune. Need to try Lews someday.

Lew's SSG I'm sure it has another name but this reel rocks for me.

That's a tough one. As of what o currently have in my possession id say Chronarch E series.

I went up a level and bought 2 tournament pro speed spools and they are great but i gotta say my favorite is my gen 1 revo sx, just something about that big ol reel i like...

Lew's BB1. All three of them.

Curado 50E. I'll take it over my curado I's, and my chronarch ci4.

My Curado 200E5. Like My new Curado I though too, but you just can't beat the smoothness, simplicity, and effectiveness at casting light to medium sized baits as the old Curados.

What's everyone's favorite casting reel that they own?

I love my Tatula Type R.

I fish with some cheap $100 junk and It's a toss up between my T3B, Pro Q and Accurist.  Love the way the T3B casts but hate the way braid sounds going onto it.  It sounds like someone rubbing steel braided cable on an empty 5 gallon bucket.  The Pro Q and Accurist are fairly evenly matched with the Accurist being a little bit better in every way but has these gross little rubber nubs for handles and the spool tension knob is rock hard to turn.

Favorite Casting Reel You Own

Ask one less tough to reply, I like all my reels.

I haven't owned too many casting reels, but my Chronarch 201e7 has been very good to me so far.  I just picked up a Curado I at Cabela's over the weekend, can't wait to see how it compares to the Chronarch.

Exo 100 for me. I have 5 now, just a great casting reel and a pleasure to turn the handle. I have pixy type r, zillion, mgx, tatula type r, chronarch 50/200 E's, Calcuttas, scorpion 1000xt, t3 1016's, energys, patriarch and the list goes on, lol. But....the exo is my go to nowadays. I would've never expected it but give it a try. Might be surprised. I will be getting a metanium soon so it might get trumped!
