What's everyone's favorite casting reel that they own?

About an 8 yr old Johnny Morris reel I bought used off Ebay for $50. I did pay $20 to get the cast control fixed.

If you'd asked a couple months ago it would have been a 1983 Daiwa Procaster Magforce PMF100. Had it since I was a kid. But it finally gave up the ghost beyond repair.

I love all of my reels, but if I had to pick one it would be my td ito with 7.1 gears because it is just special.

Daiwa TDZ 100M fully tricked out or a Shimano Core 50mg7. Casting distance, lightweight, and smooth retrieves are what I enjoy most.

I like my 50E so much that I just ordered a $150 Scorpion XT1000 before they sell out and are gone forever.

I have both. I think you will like the 1000 XT. A few differences between the two but nothing over bearing.

I have a lot of reels to choose from, most around the 200 price point. My favorite(s) are

Lew's Tournament Pro

Lew's BB-1 Pro

Shimano Curado 200 G7

Abu Garcia Revo STX

Quantum KVD model I bought used somewhere

I have many more, but these are my favorites. If I HAD to choose only one it would be

Lew's Tournament Pro (6.4:1)

It just "fits"
