Get a quality airbrush (Iwata) a compressor, good airbrush paint(taxidermy) and get ready to practice and then practice some more.

I know some guys picked it up real quick but I was not one of thsoe guys.   I bought 5 traps and 5 cranks from Jann's and have painted those baits several hundred times.   That's the best advice I can give.

Be prepared to give up all your free time and most fishing time. But to the bright side your fishing tackle will look great with no time to fish it. ;D

I am looking at painting too to pass the time now that I am unemployed. What model of Iwata brush do you guys suggest and what paint brand? I already have a compressor. I am dying to paint some of these old cranks lying around.
