Green/Pepper Scum Frog...Why? I think It's the softest frog there is.

I've had the best hook ratio with it over all the more popular ones.

I go spro

But evolve nervous walker was very soft and had good walk. It's discontinued now though.

I have a pony gabot but haven't hooked up yet and a river2sea popper I haven't used.

Spro king daddy works too, you'd be surprised at the small bass trying to choke it.

My favorite is the Bronzeye 65 in Outback color. I also love the Bronzeye Jr in that color. The Bronzeye Shad is also a favorite when the bass are targeting bait fish.

R2S Spittin' Wa 70 is also a good big fish bait. I don't get nearly as many strikes on it as the Spro but when I do its usually a good one.

H20 in white or black.

I've done surprising well on  Z Man Hard Leg Frogz. Being able to stop and just let it sit there before starting it up again has triggered strikes.

Questions for anybody: How well does a Snag Proof Weed Demon walk compared to the more modern frogs? And how well does it walk compared a hard-bodied walker?

I use Teckel frogs and River2Sea frogs. I find the Teckel frogs to be easy to walk.

Long time user of Kopper's LT frogs. Can fish them various ways and they can take one heck of a beating before they have to be retired.

Overall the live target frogs are probably the best. Spro are good also but don't have that softness. I do really like the king daddy frogs from spro though. I guess it like a swimbait sized frog. I kinda prefer popping frogs most of the time now a days. I can walk them just as well usually and they can also be popped so it's a bonus. For buzz frogs it's a Stanley ribbit all day. I really wanted it to be a top toad but no mattet how I rig them it doesn't seem right. I have also missed almost every fish ever on them. For a pause retrieve like the crappy Lunk Hunter frogs people seem to like its easily Ken Dauberts frogs. I have not tried the new mass produced ones that are like $10 but I have caught tons of fish on the much more expensive older ones.

Question...bas fisherman go hog nuts about proper presentation and realistic lures...

When have you ever seen a real live frog "walk the dog"?

2. Saying the Live Target or Lunker Hunt frogs look the most realistic seems to be important, but bass really aren't that smart. What the crap is a chatterbait supposed to look like because it's not realistic? A Senko isn't a realistic looking bait. Heck...a Mepps doesn't really look like any aquatic animal but we use them and they work...we will spend $50+ on a swimbait because the paint job looks the most realistic.

I think we go a little overboard in thinking bass can discern one paint scene over another.

Back to the topic: I've got several frogs from KVD to Live Target to H2O abd they all do fine....but the Live Target Field Mouse has caught me a lot of fish too.
