jitterbug127 Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Most of my fishing is at a single pond muddy about 8 feet derp. Low viability. What can Ned rig do Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted June 2, 2015 Super User Posted June 2, 2015 Catch fish?? . I would imagine if you could catch them on texas rigs, shakeyheads and such, you could do all right. Quote
Super User Felix77 Posted June 2, 2015 Super User Posted June 2, 2015 I have a similar situation ... I used the Coppertruse and got some decent bites. That has a chartreuse bottom which I think helps. FWIW I also add megastrike. Quote
Super User everythingthatswims Posted June 2, 2015 Super User Posted June 2, 2015 I use jig heads with a weed guard so when it's muddy I can work cover. Works very well, just very down sized pitching Quote
KayakBasser Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 It should work great, but don't expect to only catch the small ones Quote
Derek black Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 I used it today , 1st time I was impressed Quote
tander Posted February 11, 2018 Posted February 11, 2018 I use the Ned Rig in any color of water that I would throw a worm. Green Pumpkin in clear/slightly stained and Junebug in the rest. Quote
waldo567 Posted February 12, 2018 Posted February 12, 2018 I use the ned rig a ton on small murky ponds. Almost always use junebug or black and blue flake. I use a variety of z-man baits to. Not just the TRDs. Quote
gilkeybr Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 Not murky water related, but I have fished the Finesse TRD at night with lots of success. I was pretty shocked that something so subtle could still get bit with in no-light conditions Quote
FishDewd Posted February 13, 2018 Posted February 13, 2018 I've used these before when the water is really murky and.or nasty. Doesn't have to be a TRD or even a Z man to make a successful ned rig. Keep in mind these lack the buoyancy of the TRD but the action they provide underwater is amazing: Quote

FishDewd Posted February 14, 2018 Posted February 14, 2018 That's a Lake Fork Trophy Lures Ring Fry. I have a pack in chartreuse. Quote
