My anti reverse bearings won't seat properly and it's causing my reel to be rough when I tighten up the drag because it's hitting into the main gear drive... Any suggestions?

The AR bearing is usually mounted in the side plate with a collar going through it that presses on the drag stack which in turn press onto the main gear cog. Hard to imaging how the AR bearing could be touching the gear. What reel is it?

Theres really only one way to put an AR bearing in..either it fits or you line it up until it does fit.

Yes this ^^

If you put it in the wrong way it'll go in, but not the entire way, and you'll have a badly working reel - not to mention the AR won't function

Ok so this is the reel a Lews Laser mg speed spool I had taken it apart to clean it and I don't think I put anything back wrong but apparently I did because everytime I tighten the drag the spool gets reel hard to turn and it doesn't function well. And someone on the forum suggested that it might be that the AR bearing wasn't seated well and was sticking out and when u tighten up the drag it would put pressure on the main gear causing it to go slow.

I had the same thing happen with the $99 speed spool years ago. I can't remember the exact fix. Try flipping that metal sleeve around. I think that might of been it.
