C0lt Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 So im kind of confused. Has the spawn happened yet? Quote
Zach Nute Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Yes, the spawn has happened. I'm on the eastern side of the state and the spawn is supposedly over. People are saying that with the full moon on June 2nd, that another spawning stage will occur. How true that is? I don't know! Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted June 1, 2015 Super User Posted June 1, 2015 Depends on water temperature in the lake you are fishing. It's it's up to the mid 60's (which it probably is by now where you are) they have definitely gone to their beds. Quote
C0lt Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 it seems as though where I am the spawn just happened, or is happening right now. Quote
jjconnaire Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I didn't see as many beds this year as I did last year Quote
WPCfishing Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 I've seen many on some ponds and lakes and zero on others they being the majority. Quote
EdsBar Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I haven't seen many beds either this year.... I haven't been out too much, but has there been any decent action around that people are willing to share? I'm trying to hit up Babcock Pond in Colchester Saturday, so I'll post a report on it. Quote
einscodek Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 Yer in my neck of the woods and yes we are in late spawn. The early spawners have spawned and inch long fingerlings are on the shores but alil deeper than in previous years. Some fish are in post spawn and some are guarding nests and some are looking to spawn again but we are in the late stages and they are biting well esp the big ones as the temps go up. Spring was late this year so the fishing has been tougher to figure out but once figured they be bitin' Caught 2 5lb+ bass this last week along with lots of smaller ones Quote
