Brett Strohl Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 So I really like Yum's 6" "dinger" (senko style bait), but I can't find anyone near me that sells them anymore. I can get 30 of them online for about $15 (which isn't terrible, but it's more than I want to pay) or there is someone selling something very similar on Ebay that is handmade for $8-$9. So my question is will handmade plastics work as well? I know Yums come with some kind of fish oil on them, but I'm catching fish on them after multiple uses, to where I'm sure there is no oil left. Other then that, I don't know what difference there might be. Quote
C0lt Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 It really depends on the mold and the quality of the plastics this person uses. as far as the scent goes, this person may include it, however you don't really need it (it is nice though). Personally, I don't really have a preference when it comes to stick baits (I may get mobbed for that one), as Im not really that interested in them (may get mobbed for that one too), and in my opinion they all will catch fish. If they seem to be decent quality for the right price, I say go for it. I would only buy a small amount to try them before you stock up on them though. Quote
Brett Strohl Posted June 1, 2015 Author Posted June 1, 2015 Cool thanks! Buying a small amount is probably a good idea. I've been catching fish this summer on different colors and different sizes, so TBH I don't think one brand or whatever is going to do me any better than another either. I just like the 6" b/c it is the easiest to cast, and now that we cleared Walmarts discount bin out of Yums, I can't find any more anywhere Quote
Brayberry Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Depending on the color, YUM has the 6" on their website, I just saw 6" Junebug Dingers for $3.49 a bag, I'm sure there's other colors available. BPS also have 6" Dingers in stock in multiple colors for $3.49 a bag Quote
