I was wondering how the lews custom speed stick casting rods preform compared to others in that price range?

Also which model for jerkbaits?

I don't see a jerk bait rod on the Lews list. Pick your poison.

Their topwater Rod is also rated and listed for jerkbaits. Their spinnerbait Rod is for bigger jerkbaits. Great rods

I'm totally satisfied with the Magnum one I bought.

All the talk about Dobyns & Duckett.. Those guys that like them so much should check out the Lews rods. What a sleeper.

How's the speed stick compared to the *** black?

I've never seen an ***. I have 3 Lews rods now and I'm totally satisfied with them. I am interested in the new *** Black with the new cork grip. Looks like a nice rod.

I don't like the current versions look at all and I've read the grip is uncomfortable.

I took the plunge last night and bought a 6'MH Black *** casting rod. Its the A model so no bling around the reel seat.. Rods rating is 3/8-1oz. For $90.00 bucks shipped it was worth it to me to give the *** a shot.

I still want a full cork version, I'll buy when they become available unless I find I don't like the rod. We'll see...
