Super User jbsoonerfan Posted May 27, 2015 Super User Posted May 27, 2015 The NBA needs to do away with the conf. and take the top 16 teams. The East was so weak this year it wasn't even funny. There have also been years where the West was so weak it wasn't funny. I just don't think we actually find out who the best team is when we have to watch a conf. that in general just sucks. Quote
Super User Senko lover Posted May 27, 2015 Super User Posted May 27, 2015 RIP Bulls, my favorite team. Quote

You still find out who the best team is, because they still win. It doesn't matter if the conference is strong or weak, the best team will win and keep winning. The west was pretty tough this year, but you still find out that Golden State is the best team right now. If they weren't, they wouldn't have been knocked off. Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted May 27, 2015 Super User Posted May 27, 2015 Taking the top 16 teams is not the way to solve a non-existent problem. All leagues have ebbs and flows as far as competitiveness goes, it is just how it works. he East was weaker but the top teams were still solid. If you take the top 16 you eliminate much of the playoff run drama and excitement and will see even more tanking at the end of seasons to solidify draft position. Lebron is an incredible talent and while he is by no means loved by fans, the guy is special and will be if not already in the top of players to ever play. Nobody can do what he has done at the level he has done for as long. Scary thing is he still has a lot of good basketball to play before his skills begin to diminish. 1 Quote

They let the media and lebron get in their heads. The way they played you would think it was the 1st time they ever played together. Lots of self inflicted wounds didn't help em either. Quote
Super User Dwight Hottle Posted June 2, 2015 Author Super User Posted June 2, 2015 Been waiting awhile for this. So has the whole city of Cleveland. Quote
