You ever try listening to country music ?

Used to be all I listened to for a couple of years, then I started missing rock and metal. Had to go back to the real me.

Actually, I have an idea. My second favorite song from my favorite band could probably be sung as a country song. More of a rock country song, but country nonetheless. Give it a listen. Snuff by Slipknot.

I used to be a little troubled myself, had a rough couple of years. I can actually say that fishing and country music saved me from a dark place.

The only thing that has made me better is my girlfriend. I hate to hear when others go through stuff as well. I know sometimes it happens to some of the best people you'll ever meet and I just don't get it. Someone like me, yeah, I deserve it. Some people that deal with the stuff just don't seem like they deserve it. They try to help everyone else and they have their own thing going on. One thing that still gets me is one time I was walking out of Wal-Mart and this vet in a wheelchair asked, "would you mind sparing some money for and old beat up vet?" I told him I was out of money. I had about $10 and a Pepsi. I could've given him the Pepsi at the very least. I wish I could see him again so I could help him out.

I'll warn you, it's slightly heavy. Lol

Lyrics are a bit lame but otherwise, two horns up. I love a good scream-growl combination. Look up some 3 Inches of Blood. Garaunteed to put a smile on your face!

Being remorseful is a good thing. Can't do a thing about yesterday, only today.. Sounds like your learning to heal, gotta come to terms w the past, it can get to you otherwise.

Went to the doctor earlier and got prescribed medication. He said it's good that I have lots of hobbies, but said that exercise would possibly be beneficial as well. I have to go see the therapist again in about three weeks to get my dosage bumped up most likely and then again every three weeks after that until I get to feeling halfway normal. I'm going to take my GED practice test tomorrow and see if I'm ready for the real test. Just figured I'd give my Bass Resource family a quick update. Wish me luck!

Exercise is a great stress and depression reliever! Hope and wish the best for you. Stay steading on the course... ever little step counts!

I like "Wait and Bleed" and "Before I'm Forget" when I'm lifting weights. When I'm on the road I listen to country, and when I'm at home or school its Gambino and Eazy

Wait and Bleed is my favorite song. Can't get enough of it. There's this Russian guy that death growls the whole thin and it sounds awesome. Look up Alex Terrible.

Well guys, I got a job. Could be for a week, could be for months. Time to go see my girlfriend and buy some stuff for my quad and a new rod and reel setup. :D

Congrats that's great news. Not to be a bummer but it might not be a bad idea to squirrel a few checks away first. Again though congrats.

I'm gonna save up if I can resist the urge to spend money. It'll be nice to be able to buy things now. I'll probably put back $50-$100 away each week.

Always save money out of every check. It makes your job a lot more enjoyable after a while when you're not working paycheck to paycheck.

Second day went good. Kinda sucked for the first six hours, but the last four or so were actually enjoyable. Working from 7-6.

Going through a rough patch right now. Me and my now ex broke up. Right now I just want to give up on life but I promised her I wouldn't. I still just want to go to sleep and not wake up though. I'm just tired of life right now. I'm sure someone will come in with, "suck it up, buttercup," but if I could suck it up and deal with it better I would. I'm just basically dreading every day now.

Hey bud I'm very sorry to hear about you and your girl man that really hits hard and can meet you head up big time. Man you gotta keep your promise to her and most importantly you gotta keep your goals you set for yourself. Given up isn't the way man there is people out there that love you just open up to the ones cloese to you and vent to them that really helps get out how you are feeling man. Given up is never a option you gotta keep fighting on and rech deep down inside yourself and your heart and tell yourself everything is gonna be alright because it will be. I don't know you or your now ex girlfriend or why you to broke up but sometimes people need a little room and she still cares about you that's why she made you promise her what she did. Don't call or text her I know its hard but when the times right and she's ready to talk she will come around bud. Working will help keep your mind off it all and go fishing or something. Man take it from me I'm 28 I lost my wife and my 2 kids from a bad accident it left me with a lot of **** on my mind and I wouldn't talk to her or anyone about it .but thin I realized what I had and I had to do whatever it took to get her and my kids back. her and I separated for almost a year and now we are back together. What I'm trying to say my Young friend is never let yourself think for a minute that you can't do something because you can do anything you put your mind to your to young to worry about somethings like that you have your hole life to live always remember there is someone else out there going threw a whole lot worse

Thanks man, it's just tough. I'm trying to keep it together but I feel like I'm just dying inside right now.
