Fished a new lake in the canoe with the wife today. Got a new pb and my first jig bass! Used a gambler flappy daddy craw trailer and 3/4 flipping jig in black /blue. Had a great day got 4 fish total. On jig and craw colored rattle traps.,

Thanks guys new lake also. Never been on it third cast got this guy! Man what a great day. It isn't a huge fish I don't even have a scale but still great to me lol

Congratulations and nice fish!  First one on a jig is memorable.  I don't remember my first topwater, Senko, crank bait, spinnerbait, etc. bass, but I do remember my first bass on a jig.  Good stuff!  

 

I'm one of those guys who believes jigs tend to catch larger bass.
