I am in the process of getting new line for my three rods. One rod is a spinning rod, I am using weightless senkos with that. The other is a 7 ft med hvy rod, I use that for crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and jigs. The final one is a 7 ft med rod, I use that for smaller crankbaits and senkos. What line should I get for each of those rods? I was looking at Vicious, Sunline, and Seaguar.

How much do you wanna spend and are we talking about fluoro?  I went cheaper on one rod and got Seaguar Red Label in 10#.  Fished all day this past Sat with no issues.  Handled quite well for a $12 spool.  I am curious about Sniper though.

A tight one!

Seriously you are gonna get 50 different answers and opinions

Of the three you have chosen i like seaguar and sunline

i use sunline on some reels, seaguar on some reels, power pro on a few lolol

I agree with ColdSVT. You are literally going to get one thousand different answers.

So, with that being said. I'll just give you what I prefer; Seagur Invisx or Sunline FC Sniper. Both are great for my setups which are very similar to what you are going to be fishing.

Thats what I am looking for. Multiple opinions so I can check out all types of line brands. Thanks for the help.

There is no "best" line, everyone has different preferences. I would suggest putting a different line on each to see which one you prefer.

Ho-hum, another best line thread.. Some say braid, some say FC, some ( like me ) say co-poly

Try them all & given a couple months, you will have a very good understanding of what works

"Best" for you.. Enjoy the hunt!

Oh, I like Yo hybrid really well too!

I do gotta say since i have sniper and invisx on multiple rigs i like the sunline a hair better...just a hair. They perform so close but the sniper feels like it stretches less. Abrasion resistance is super close.

The sniper does seem more stiff in colder temps but not much

Jeez, I was just out on the water the other day and thinking the same exact thing! I have each on different rigs but when it comes down to having to break off sometimes, the Sunline is pretty easy. The Seagurs is definitely way stretchier. Both still perform within the same parameters so I can't complain. Can't remember which one is more expensive.

There is a "best" line and it's called Tatsu. If you want to pony up that kind of $.

I don't know if Tatsu is the best, but it's the best I've used. Either way, my 1 2 and 3 are tatsu shooter and fc sniper. And yes get fluorocarbon

All the guys I know run Seagar InvizX and swear by it. I ran it a few times and didn't like it. I've had good luck with Triline 100% flouro and it seemed much stronger than Seagar InvizX. Triline XT always treated me right back in the day.

It's all preference. Does the latest trendy fishing line or technology help you catch more fish? Who knows.

I'm kind of curious what everyone is running for spinning and baitcasters. What's the best bang for the buck line? :)

For the spinning I would use 15lb Smackdown with a leader of fluoro leader. 15 lb fluoro on the others. Invizx.

Put good old tried a true Trilene XT on one of them. It pretty hard to beat if you find one you like better I'd like to no about it. And why you liked it better.

I use it in 6 pound test for white bass fishing. A three and half pound white bass will fight like crazy in the current. Haven't lost one yet.

I'd go with mono. Original Stren or Suffix Elite.

Warning on the Stren it has a lot of stretch. Especially when you got a lot of line out and need to set the hook hard.
