If he got that fish officially verified and weighed, he broke the state record for Fl. Beautiful fish.

Huh? I am confused. I thought you just pm'd me that it was caught in a cast net at one of my spot I never fished?  :dazed-7:

If the bass is #18 then there should be more local news on it. Where was it caught? Did he have the weight certified? Did he call FWC? Just this year I have received $350 from FWC in gift cards for the three bass I caught that weighed over eight pounds.

interesting....looks like a legit bass to me.  Looking at photos of 17-18# class fish it would appear that would be up there?

I just want to know why the dude is all wet?

If thats the picture and its legit, unless hes a midget, by the relative size of his hands, that fish is at least 26"+

If 29" given its a fat fish, I dont put it past that it could be in the neighborhood of 18

So question is did he let this go without getting an official weighing?

Score another big fish on a 5" worm..

That is an epic fish even if not 18lbs. I feel it does look 29" though.

Nice bass no doubt but the photo clarity seems off.

That dude has his arms at 180* angles. I'm thinking 13ish. I'm also thinking that this was caught with something other than a rod and reel.
