Super User fourbizz Posted November 21, 2006 Super User Posted November 21, 2006 4-6 inch straight tail ProWorm. Quote
Nick_Culver2 Posted November 21, 2006 Posted November 21, 2006 I use many baits varing the size. Over here in Washington we have Sniper Baits. They work great both the bolts and snubs. I use these when I really want to go small in tough conditions. When I'm nailing them and want a kicker fish I tend to lean towards either a Reaction Innovations Samllie Beaver and their Flirt Worm. These are what's at the top of my list when it comes to drop shotting. I also love the 4 1/2" Robo Wenie Worm in the FX series. My favorite color is Peoples Choice. Quote

justfishin Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I don't use the dropshot a lot but, when I do, mostly in gin clear deep water like Deep Creek Lake in Maryland, I use a Zoom Finese in smoke-blue flake or a 6" watermelon or green pumpkin straight tail pencil worm made by Wasp. I have had a lot of luck on both. I use them on a 6'6" M or ML rod and 6-8# test. This set up has worked well for me on the channel drops and at the end of points in those gin clear lakes. Good luck. sodaksker Posted November 24, 2006 Posted November 24, 2006 I have not drop shotted a lot either, but, the only thing that worked for me was the 4" turtle back worm in black by gulp. It is as close to a live leach as I could find. Quote
