It was suppose to say better spinning rod? Which do u feel is better

Shakey head rod, St. Croix Legend Tournament Bass or Shimano Cumara

I like the cumara, Ive heard some rumours of a new cumara so there may be some deals to be had on the current models..time will tell.

You may want to look at the Zodias, I have the 7ft. ML and its a great shakey head rod.I also use it for the ned rig and i think it will handle a 3/16 tube also...I think its equal to the cumara in sensitivity.

I'd go st croix, better warranty and rod in my opinion.

Check the feel of each rod. Pick the one that you personally like and suits your needs.

Save a few bucks and get an Avid. Not much difference between the Avid and LTB to justify the price difference IMO, but if it is just between the two, the LTB is still a sweet rod. I have never used a Cumara, but I can't imagine you would be disappointed with a St. Croix.

I own plenty of St. Croix, all good rods IMO, but the Cumara is a quality rod also...very sensitive!

The older black/charcoal colored blank Cumara rods are some of the best rods ever made and highly sought after. You would probably be after the 7'2 or 6'8 medium fast spinning rod. I have 4 Gen 1 Cumara rods that I won't part with. The newer gen cumaras are ok but just not a fan of red blank or the handle. The Zodias would be worth a look too.
